Foot reflexology techniques for tackling stress and women's health issues by Hagar Basis

A practical 2-day workshop on 9 and 10 July in which foot reflex therapists learn the necessary techniques to tackle the following: restorative reflexology techniques to help relieve lymphatic stagnation through the body’s intricate lymph fascia matrix. We will also be working key reflexes of the immune and lymphatic system, including essential helper reflexes to improve the body’s vital immune function, help reduce inflammation and enhance core health.

The modern science of Psycho-Neuro-Immunology (PNI) identifies the direct links between psychological distress and illness. Stress significantly disrupts our health and makes us more susceptible to everything from the common cold to serious autoimmune disease. Chronic stress can increase inflammation and alter our body’s protective immune responses.

The focused reflexology taught at this workshop will help us to reduce the severity that persistent stress has on the body and mind, thereby strengthening vitality and immune function. In addition, the techniques learnt at the workshop aim to help you support the recovery of clients suffering from the symptoms of long covid, chronic fatigue syndrome and other post-viral complications.

This hands-on all practical workshop teaches a specific bi-manual integrated approach to working the reflexes, enhancing your reflexology practice through potent therapeutic touch and experiential learning.

You also learn specific recovery reflexology techniques and approaches to combat stress, its related disorders and to help initiate the Bodymind balance.
The application of Hagar's techniques stimulates the return of balance and consciousness in the body and emphasizes the importance of being centered (grounded).

In this practical workshop you learn specific BI-manual techniques to edit the reflex zones, giving your reflexology practice a unique addition.

The practical aspect of this workshop will concentrate on the following:

1. Lymphatic & Immune System
2. Liver – The body’s Powerhouse
3. Vagus Nerve Stimulation
4. Gut Brain Pathway
5. Endocrine System Balance /HPA (hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis)
6. Spinal Reflexes (Autonomic Nervous System ANS)
7. The Importance of the Toes – Energetic Gateway

Hagar has developed specific techniques within foot reflexology during the past 30 years to improve their therapeutic effectiveness.
She teaches BI-manual techniques for editing the reflex zones.
Her basis has developed from the philosophy and methodology of the advanced reflexology techniques of Tony Porter (art). She has been able to teach them for many years.
